GUILFORD COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Suzanne Mary Polastre, of Greensboro, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal shooting in Guilford County.

Polastre, 47, was killed following a shooting near Greensboro around midnight.

According to reports, Polastre was found suffering from gunshot injuries Sunday night in the area of 2800 South Elm-Eugene Street in Greensboro.

Polastre was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
