HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Shivnarine Samogan, of Minneapolis, has been identified as the victim in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Hennepin County Monday night.
Samogan, 26, was killed in a Monday night single-SUV crash near Minneapolis.

According to reports, Samogan was operating a Mitsubishi SUV on I-94 near Olson Memorial Freeway in Minneapolis, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11:30 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then made contact with a utility pole.
Samogan was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
