BARBOUR COUNTY, LA. (THECOUNT) — Donald Jovan Howard McCoy, of Louisville, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday morning crash in Barbour County.
McCoy, 20, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Clio on Saturday morning.
According to reports, McCoy was operating a Toyota Corolla on AL-51 near Clio, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 6 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
