WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) —Destin Legieza, of Spring Hill, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Williamson County Thursday morning.
Legieza, 30, was killed in a head-on vehicle crash near Brentwood on Thursday morning.
According to reports, Legiaza, a Brentwood Police Officer, was operating his cruiser in Brentwood, when another vehicle crossed centerlines making head-on contact Thursday around 6 a.m.
According to the department, Legieza’s death marked the first Brentwood police officer to be killed in the line of duty.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
