JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Faris Ibrahim, of Birmingham, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday morning single-vehicle crash in Jefferson County.
Ibrahim, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 65 near Fultondale early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Ibrahim was operating a vehicle on I-65 in Fultondale, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed conterlines and exited the roadway around 3 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then made contact with a concrete retainer wall.
Ibrahim was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
