LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) —Colton Bennett, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Sunday night in Lawrence County.
Bennett, 27, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night near Clover Bend.
According to reports, Bennett was operating a Chevy Trailblazer on CR-529 in Clover Bend, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to roll over multiple times.
Bennett, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
