KOOTENAI COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Peterson, of Spirit Lake, Idaho, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Sunday night in Kootenai County.
Peterson, 51, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Spirit Lake Sunday night.
According to reports, Peterson was operating a vehicle on ID-54 near Red Dell Loop, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway and wrecked around 7 p.m. Sunday.
Peterson, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
