DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Phillip Dexter Steverson, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Davidson County Sunday morning.
Steverson, 28, died in a motorcycle crash near Nashville early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Steverson was operating a Suzuki motorcycle in Downtown Nashville early Sunday morning, when the bike rear ended a stopped Nissan Sentra around 3:20 a.m.
Steverson, who was ejected from the bike during the wreck, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Sentra was not injured in the collision and no one was cited at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
