MASON COUNTY, WA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher S. Shuman, of Brinnon, Washington, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Mason County Wednesday night.
Shuman, 43, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Hamma Hamma on Wednesday night.
According to reports, Shuman was operating a Subaru Impreza on WA-101 near Hamma Hamma, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a substantial tree.
Shuman was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
