AVOYELLES PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Wilbert Jorrell Tanner, of Lebeau, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday night crash in Avoyelles Parish.
Tanner, 32, was killed Thursday night in a single-vehicle crash in near Marksville.
According to reports, Tanner was operating a vehicle on LA Hwy 1176 in Avoyelles Parish, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Thursday night. The vehicle then made contact with a utility pole and rolled over.
Tanner, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
