ERIE COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Tatiana Walker, of Buffalo, New York and Julia Hunt, of Tempe, Arizona, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal head-on wrong-way crash in Erie County Thursday morning.
Walker, 32, and Hunt, 23, were both killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 90 near Lancaster Thursday morning.
According to reports, Walker, for unknown reasons, was operating a Ford Escape in opposing lanes of I-90, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a Toyota Corolla, operated by Hunt.
Both women were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
