LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Lee Loyd, of Decatur, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday two-vehicle crash in Limestone County Friday.
Josh Floy, 23, was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Friday near Athens.
According to reports, Loyd was operating a Nissan Sentra on Interstate 65 in Athens, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a KIA Sorento operated by 58-year-old Jeffrey Lynn Wilkerson, of Florence.
Loyd was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Wilkerson was transported to a Huntsville hospital with unknown injuries.
