WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) — Charles Lamar Keeve, of La Plata, Maryland, has been identified as the victim of a Friday morning motorcycle crash in Washington, DC.
Keeve, 28, was killed early Friday in a two-vehicle motorcycle collision in Ivy City, a neighborhood in Northeast Washington.
According to reports, Keeve was operating a motorcycle on New York Avenue Northeast near Fairview Avenue Northeast in Ivy City, when the bike came into contact with a vehicle that was performing a left hand turn around 12:15 a.m. Friday.
Keeve was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Friends and family members took to Facebook to remember Keeve:
The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
