WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Gregg A. Leipertz Jr, of Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Westmoreland County Wednesday afternoon.
Leipertz, 24, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near Murrysville on Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, Leipertz was operating a motorcycle on PA-380 near Fairview Lane in Murrysville, when the bike came into contact with a vehicle that was performing a turn around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Leipertz, who was thrown from the bike during the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The condition of the driver was not provided by officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
