SLIDELL, LA. (THECOUNT) — Jerry Marlena Parr, of Bush, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Slidell.
Parr, 69, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Slidell on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Louisiana State Troopers, Parr was operating a vehicle on US 190 near Old River Road in Slidell, when his vehicle came into head-on contact with another vehicle, operated by 19-year-old Joseph J. Molinary of Slidell, around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Molinary was cited at the scene for Careless Operation.
Parr was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
