MIAMI, FL. (THECOUNT) — Alejandro Ripley, the 9-year-old Miami, Florida boy allegedly abducted by two men demanding drugs from his mother, has been found dead Friday morning.
Ripley, who is said to be autistic, was the subject of an Amber Alert out of Miami, Florida, on Thursday.
Search crews were attempting to locate Ripley after his mother contacted police saying her son had been kidnapped “right in front of her.”
According to the boy’s mother, she was operating a vehicle when she observed two men following her. The men then sideswiped her vehicle and blocked her in.
At that point, one of the men exited the vehicle and demanded drugs before eventually taking off with her cell phone and the boy.
One of the suspects was said to be wearing all black clothing and a black bandanna face mask. He may also have cornrows in his hair.
A cause or manner of death was not immediately provided by officials.
Police are still urging anyone with information regarding the case to contact the Miami-Dade Police Department at 305-476-5423.
