DOUGLAS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Maksim Shcherbiy, of Omaha, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday motorcycle crash involving a vehicle in Douglas County.
Shcherbiy, 33, who was incorrectly identified in crash reports as “Maksim Shcerbiy,” was killed in a motorcycle-versus-vehicle crash in Omaha on Wednesday afternoon.
According to officials, Shcherbiy was operating a Honda motorcycle traveling on Harrison St near S 132nd St in Omaha, when the bike came into contact with a Buick Lacrosse, operated by 49-year-old Diana Ramer of Ohama.
Ramer, who was uninjured in the deadly incident, is facing unknown charges in the crash.
Shcherbiy was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
