MERRIMACK, NH, (THECOUNT) — John Willey, of Boscawen, New Hampshire, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal single-vehicle Interstate 89 crash in Merrimack County.
Willey, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Friday night near Warner.
According to officials, Willey was operating a Honda Civic on I-89, near Exit 8, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then made contact with an exit sign before overturning.
Willey was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
