SHELBY COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Michael Moore of Memphis, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday night motorcycle crash Shelby County.

Moore, 39, was killed in a motorcycle crash involving a BMW on Wednesday night in Memphis.

According to officials, Moore was operating a motorcycle traveling on Kirby Parkway near Birch Run Lane in Memphis, when the bike came into contact with a BMW around 10 p.m. Wednesday in the Hickory Hill area.

Moore was killed in the crash.

The driver of the BMW, who was not injured in the wreck, remained at the scene and fully cooperated with first responders.

No one was cited at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
