JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Troy Lee Eberenz, of Louisville, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday night fatal motorcycle crash in Jefferson County.
Eberenz, 27, was killed in a Tuesday night motorcycle crash involving an SUV in Louisville.
According to reports, Eberenz was operating a motorcycle on Ballardsville Road near Worthington Place Drive in Louisville, when he made contact with an SUV Tuesday around 10:30 p.m.
Eberenz, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured. A passenger traveling in the SUV was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
In 2018, Eberenz made local headlines after his dog was shot in the face during a home burglary.
