SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Virginia teen, Gabe Henderson, has been identified as the victim in a tragic Monday boating accident
Henderson, a star student-athlete at Deep Run High School, was killed Monday in a boating accident on Lake Anna, near Spotsylvania Courthouse.
According to reports, Henderson was boating along with three other unidentified teenagers, when the boat capsized for unknown reasons.
The other teenagers aboard were able to swim to shore.
Henderson’s body was recovered from the water Monday night, the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries confirmed.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
