NATCHITOCHES, LA. (THECOUNT) — Jace Prescott, former Haughton High star and Northwestern State University product, passed away this morning according to Northwestern State spokesperson. He was 31.
Prescott, brother of Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott, passed away Thursday morning.
The 6-foot-6, 343 pounder, was featured in a Campbell’s “Champions of Chunky” commercial with his brothers Dak and Tad.
Prescott earned honorable mention on the LHSAA’s 2006 Class 4A All-State football team and was a First-Team Times’ 2006 All-City Football selection. He was later named to the 2007 All-City Track team in the shot put.
A cause of death was not provided.
