SOUTH BRONX, NY. (THECOUNT) — Bronx rapper known as, Fred The Godson, has died after contracting and battling coronavirus.
Fredrick Thomas, 35, lost his battle with COVID-19 after being hospitalized for several weeks.
News of his passing first broke after DJ Self posted on his Instagram page:
“Was loved by many never heard one bad thing about you RIP @fredthegodsonmusic Sleep Well my brother”
Thomas suffered from asthma, had shared that he was battling the virus via his Instagram page in March and asked his followers to keep him in their prayers.
