CARNEY, MD. (THECOUNT) — Bryan Yarworth, of Bel Air North, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle-versus-auto collision in Carney on Sunday afternoon.
Yarworth, 62, was killed and another person suffered serious injuries following a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Sunday.
According to police, Yarworth was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on E Joppa Rd & Harford Rd in Carney, when the bike came into contact with a Dodge Durango.
Yarworth and his passenger were thrown from the motorcycle during the collision.
Yarworth was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries. His passenger, who has not been identified, was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Dodge remained at the scene and were uninjured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
