LINN COUNTY, OR. (THECOUNT) — Sherry Wheeler, of Keizer, Oregon, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday night crash in Linn County.
Wheeler, 48, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash near Sweet Home, Oregon Thursday night.
According to reports, Wheeler was operating a vehicle on Main Street near Pleasant Valley Road, when it collided with two another vehicles in the intersection.
According to police, Wheeler was traveling at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma.
Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District personnel reported the operators of the other two vehicles declined transportation to the hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
