BEXAR COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — A lightning strike is believed to have caused a major natural gas line explosion early Thursday evening near Adkins, Texas.
The strike caused a massive explosion that could be heard and felt miles away, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said.
Residents were being evacuated from the area in the 13800 block of U.S. Highway 87 in east Bexar County near Wilson County.
