ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Nancy Lou Dove of Timberville, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Rockingham County Monday night.
Dove, 64, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Timberville Monday night.
According to Virginia State Police, Dove was operating a Toyota Corolla on on State Route 881 near Orchard Drive, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment and rolled over.
Dove was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Dove, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
