LOUISA COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Anthony, of Louisa, Virginia, has been identified as the victim killed in a fatal Sunday night motorcycle crash in Louisa County.
Anthony, 26, was killed and a female, also 26, riding on the bike at the time of the crash, was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to Virginia State Police, Anthony was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Jefferson Highway near Pendleton Road in Cuckoo, when a Honda Odyssey, driven by Mark J. Moore, 46, of E. Stroudsburg, turned in their path Sunday night around 9:30 p.m.
Anthony was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Both victims were wearing helmets.
Moore was uninjured in the collision.
Moore was charged with failing to yield right of way.
The crash remains under investigation.
