Macon Triple-Murder Victims ID’d As LeChasta Childs James & Janet Samuel

BIBB COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Caesar Crockett has been identified as the suspect sought in a grisly Magon, Georgia shooting that left three people dead Tuesday night. Following the deadly incident, Crockett fled the scene kidnapping his 2-year-old son.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says, the triple-fatal shooting of, LeChasta Childs, 47, James Samuel 69, and 67-year-old Janet Samuel, occurred on the 500-block of Moreland Avenue in Macon around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Jamila French was injured in the shooting.

Police responded to a call of shots fired on Moreland Avenue, when they arrived to the residence, officials discovered four people suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.

Deputies say there was an argument between 29-year-old Caesar Crockett and his child’s mom, 30-year-old Jamila French. During the argument, Crockett allegedly pulled out a gun and shot French’s mom, stepdad, and sister, killing them.

French was injured during the shooting.

The sheriff’s office says Crockett then ran away with his 2-year-old son, King Cane Crockett.

The sheriff’s office says Crockett is driving a black 2007 Pontiac G5 with a drive-out tag on it.
