PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Shane Diehl, of Amanda, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Pickaway County.
Diehl, 41, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Circleville Township Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, Diehl was operating a vehicle on Stoutsville Pike in Circleville Township, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to rollover. The vehicle then came to a rest upside down in a creek.
Diehl was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
