ROSEBURG, OR. (THECOUNT) — Savannah Jean Nardli of Roseburg, Oregon, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle DUII crash Saturday morning in Douglas County.

Nardli, 22, was killed early Saturday morning when an inebriated driver of a vehicle she was traveling, lost control and crashed on BML operated land in Roseburg.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Andrew Clements was operating a Honda Civic with Nardli as his passenger, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Saturday after midnight.

The vehicle then traveled down an embankment causing it rollover multiple times near Long’s Ranch.

According to deputies, both Clements and Nardli were ejected from the vehicle during the wreck.

Nardli was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Clements suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He was later released from the hospital and taken into custody and book on DUII charges.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
