WAGONER COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Shaun Pingleton, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Wagoner County Wednesday evening.
Pingleton, 45, was killed Wednesday evening in a single-vehicle crash near Okay, Oklahoma.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Pingleton was operating a vehicle on OK-251A, near Okay, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then overcorrected causing it to rollover multiple times before coming to a rest on its roof.
Pingleton was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Pingleton was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
