MADISON COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Kim Ferry of Earlham, Iowa has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday motorcycle crash near Peru, Iowa.
Ferry, 68, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Madison County late Sunday morning.
According to reports, Ferry was operating a motorcycle on Clark Tower Road around 11:20 a.m., when he came into contact with a pickup truck operated by 56-year-old Ricky Kimmel of Peru.
The Iowa State Patrol says, Kimmel failed to yield when turning onto Peru Road when the fatal collision occurred.
Ferry was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
