PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Rescue crews are attempting to free a female pedestrian who was struck and then became trapped under a New Jersey Transit River Line train Tuesday morning.
It incident occurred around 6 a.m. at the 36th Street Light Rail Line Station near River Road in Pennsauken.
The pedestrian was struck by the first rail car, reports 6abc.
NJT officials said service is suspended on the River Line at this time.
