KILLEEN, TX. (THECOUNT) — Christina Marie Nowacki, of Salado, TX, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Killeen on Wednesday night, according to reports.
Nowacki, 32, was killed in a single-crash Wednesday night on E. Trimmier Rd in Killeen.
According to officials, an officer was patrolling the area of the 8200 block of E. Trimmier Rd. around 10:30 p.m. when he came upon a vehicle-versus-tree crash. The officer then discovered Nowacki unresponsive behind the wheel.
Officials determined, Nowacki was operating a Chevrolet Sonic on E. Trimmier Rd, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Nowacki was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, reports KCEN.
According to Facebook, Nowacki was an esthetician at Shelley’s Hair Body & Skin. She was originally from Austin, according to Facebook.
