WELLS, ME. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Tolpin, of Sanford, ME, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday morning crash.
Tolpin, 44, was killed after a Ford Explorer he was driving crashed on 345 Mile Road, in Wells, Maine on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Toplin was operating an Explorer on 345 Mile Road in Wells, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a marsh area.
Tolpin was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
There were no other people in the vehicle, reports NewsCenterMaine.
Tolpin was later pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains investigation.
