SALISBURY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Thomas Anthony Greene, of Seabrook, New Hampshire, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday crash in Salisbury, Massachusetts.

Greene, 20, was killed in a head-on crash on Interstate 495 in Salisbury on Monday evening. The crash also seriously injured a woman.

Troopers say, officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash on I-495 around 4:45 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they found an Audi A-4 and a Lexus involved in a head-on crash.

Officials determined, Greene was operating the Audi, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes. The Audi then made contact with the Lexus head-on.

The 38-year-old Lexus driver was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, according to state police.

Greene was pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries. A 22-year-old passenger in his vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Speed is believed to have been a factor in the violent crash.

The names of the others involved was not provided by officials.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
