Betty Clavdio ID’d As Victim Found Dead At Merrillville, IN Hampton Inn Sunday ‘Homicide’

MERRILLVILLE, IN. (THECOUNT) — Betty J. Clavdio has been identified as the victim found deceased at an Indiana hotel on Sunday afternoon, according to reports.

Clavdio, 45, was found dead Sunday at Hampton Inn hotel in Merrillville, Indiana, according to the Lake County coroner’s office.

Authorities say, deputies received reports of an unresponsive woman at the Hampton Inn around 1 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived, Clavdio was found deceased.

The hotel is located at 8353 Georgia Street in Merrillville, IN,

Clavdio was pronounced dead at 1:58 p.m. by the Lake County coroner’s office. Her death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.

Details about the cause of her death were not immediately available, reports ABC7Chicago.

No further information was available as of Monday morning.

Officials at the Hampton Inn declined to comment on the investigation.
