TOLEDO, OH. (THECOUNT) — Parish D. Wimberly Sr.,, of Toledo, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash in Toledo early Monday morning.
Wimberly, 27, was killed in a rollover crash that occurred Monday morning on N. Detroit Ave.
According to officials, Wimberly was traveling at an unsafe rate of speed on N. Detroit Ave when he lost control of his vehicle around 3 a.m. Monday.
The vehicle then jumped a curb and collided with multiple utility poles. The force of the collision caused the vehicle to roll over on its roof before coming to a rest.
Wimberly was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the violent crash, reports ABC13.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
