NJ Man Dyheam Williams Arrested In Murder Of Shamrock Deli Owner Jerry Pastore

AUDUBON, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Dyheam Williams, of Lindenwold, NJ, has been identified as the man arrested in the fatal stabbing of Audubon, New Jersey “Shamrock Deli” owner, Jerome “Jerry” Pastore, who was killed Friday evening following a fight over a tip jar.

Williams, 18, was charged Sunday morning with Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Haddon Township Police Chief Mark Cavallo.

On Saturday, police released a grainy photo, apparently captured by a nearby security camera, appears to be a black male riding a red or pink bicycle. The bicycle appears to be a girls’ and or a children’s model.

According to sources, Pastore accused Williams of stealing the tip jar during a confrontation outside the deli around 5 p.m. Friday, when the suspect allegedly stabbed him at least once in the neck before fleeing on a bicycle.

Police were called and Pastore was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of stab wounds.

The eatery is located at, 31 S Davis Ave in Audubon, NJ.

So far no other arrests have been made in the case.
