NJ Police Release Photo Of Suspect In Audubon Stabbing Death Of Shamrock Deli Owner Jerry Pastore over Tip Jar

AUDUBON, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Police have released a photo of the man believed to have fatally stabbed Audubon, New Jersey “Shamrock Deli” owner, Jerry Pastore, who was killed Friday evening following a fight over a tip jar.

The grainy photo, apparently captured by a nearby security camera, appears to be a black male riding a red or pink bicycle. The bicycle appears to be a girls’ and or a children’s model.

According to sources, Pastore accused the man of stealing the tip jar during a confrontation outside the deli around 5 p.m. Friday, when the suspect allegedly stabbed him at least once in the neck before fleeing on a bicycle.

Police were called and Pastore was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of stab wounds.

The eatery is located at, 31 S Davis Ave in Audubon, NJ.

So far no arrests have been made and no suspect information was provided.

Pastore has not officially been by named officials as the victim.
