KENT COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Scott Latsch, of Holton, Michigan, has been identified as the victim killed in a vehicle crash near Cedar Springs Thursday night.
Latsch, 31, was killed following a two-vehicle crash in Nelson Township Thursday.
According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, Latsch was operating a Ford Focus on Northland Drive NE in Cedar Springs around 7 p.m. when the vehicle came into contact with a Volvo XC90 driven by 28-year-old David Garner of Cedar Springs.
Investigation revealed Latsch was attempting to turn left onto westbound 16 Mile Road NE when his vehicle was struck, reports WZZM.
Latsch was pronounced dead at scene of the crash of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The sheriff’s office said investigators do not believe drugs nor alcohol to be factor’s in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
