CA Man Victor Magana Stabs GF Abducts Toddler Sunday Night In San Jose Amber Alert Issued

SAN JOSE, CA. (THECOUNT) — An Amber Alert has been issued Monday morning for Victor Magana and Bethanie Carranza. Magana, 24, is accused of stabbing his girlfriend Sunday night and abducting a 2-year-old child.

Police say, neighbors heard a woman screaming on Sunday night about 10 p.m. in the 500 block of South 11th Street in San Jose.

When officers arrived, they discovered the unidentified woman with at least one stab wound.

Officers later determined the victim had been stabbed by her boyfriend, whom officials identified as Magana.

Magana had abducted the couple’s toddler before police had arrived.

The woman was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Magana was was last seen leaving the area in a green 2007 Hyundai, Sante Fe with a California license plate of 7XJX025.

Persons providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect may be eligible for a cash reward from the Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers, reports KTVU.
