BEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP, PA. (THECOUNT) — Wilkes-Barre woman, Christina Tyler, has been identified as the woman found dead along with a child inside a vehicle in an apparent Luzerne County murder-suicide.
Tyler, 31, and her 5-year-old daughter, Olivia, were both found dead of undisclosed reasons while inside a vehicle in Bear Creek Township, according to reports.
The mother and daughter were found lifeless inside a car in what Pennsylvania State Police say is a murder-suicide near Laurel Run Road in Bear Creek Township, around 7 a.m. on Friday.
As of now police are calling this a murder-suicide investigation and say no one else was involved. There is no outstanding threat to the public.
The car was towed away from the area at about 10 a.m., reports PhillyCBS.
State Police haven’t released more information at this point, but they say this is an ongoing investigation and should have more details later.
