NAS Corpus Christi On Lockdown Wednesday Morning ‘Armed Suspect’ Shelter In Place

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX. (THECOUNT) — Naval Air Station-Corpus Christi currently is on lockdown.

An armed suspect was located near NAS Building 8 on-base and has been taken into custody, said Public Information Office Fifi Kieshnick.

A shelter-in-place advisory issued earlier in the morning still is in effect, reports KRIS.

The Corpus Christi Police Department has been called in to help with traffic caused by the lockdown.
