AURORA, IL. (THECOUNT) — A mass shooting has occurred Sunday morning in Aurora, Illinois, according to reports.

At least one person was killed and five others injured in a Sunday morning shooting in the 700 block of 4th Street in Aurora, according to police. Aurora is a suburb of Chicago.

The incident happened on 4th Street, said an Aurora Police Department tweet.

@AuroraPoliceIL “The Aurora Police Department is currently investigating an incident in the 700 block of 5th Street that left multiple people shot and one dead.

Officers are detectives are currently on scene beginning an investigation.
