FRANKLIN COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Michael Brown, a Marine who deserted his post in North Carolina to apparently hunt down and kill his mother’s boyfriend, Rodney Brown, has been arrested, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Acting U.S. Marshal Brad Sellers and Franklin County Sheriff Bill Overton will address Brown’s arrest with reporters Wednesday in Franklin County, Virginia, reports ABCNEWS.
Brown, 22, is wanted in the shooting death of 59-year-old Rodney Brown, who was found dead in his home on Nov. 9. At this time, it is unknown if the men are related.
