BATTLE CREEK, MI. (THECOUNT) — Michael Corbin has been identified as the victim found fatally shot Saturday evening in Battle Creek, Michigan, according to Sunday morning reports.

Corbin, 27, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound inside a Battle Creek home Saturday around 5:30 p.m.

Police say they responded to a residence in the 60 block of Boulder St in Battle Creek, MI, on a call of shots fired. When they arrived they discovered Corbin suffering fatal gunshot injuries Saturday evening.

At 5:35 p.m. Battle Creek Police and Fire were called out to the 60 block of Boulder St. after a man was reporting that his brother had been shot, reports WZZM.

No one else was inside the residence at the time of the fatal incident.

Officials offered no motive or suspect information.
