LEXINGTON, KY. (THECOUNT) — A large police presence is responding to downtown Lexington near the University of Kentucky Thursday morning, according to reports.

Police were seen arriving in numbers near Rose Street near East Maxwell Street. That’s close to Memorial Coliseum on UK’s campus.

The exact reason for the police response is unknown at this time.
