SUNLAND PARK. NM. (THECOUNT) — Multiple law enforcement agencies are responding to the scene of a suspected shooting in Sunland Park, New Mexico on Monday morning, according to reports.
The shooting happened early Monday morning on the 1200 block of McNutt Road near the Sunland Park Fire Department.
The FBI, U.S. Border Patrol, New Mexico State Police, and Sunland Park Police are all on scene. A spokesman for the FBI said the agency in charge of the investigation, reports KVIA.
A spokesman for the Border Patrol said the agency is working on issuing a statement.
At this point it’s not clear how many people were shot, or the extent of their injuries.
